Grandma's are just antique little girls!

Hi,  Just a quick post tonight to show a card I made a few weeks ago.  It was actually given at a Mother's Day card by some grandchildren to their Nan.

The stamp is a SWALK stamp that I got from a good friend.  I just loved the sentiment!

I coloured the image with promarkers and I think the DT is a Brenda Pinnick but don't quote me in case my memory is failing.  The flowers and pearls I've had in my stash for yonks.  I wanted to keep the whole card fairly light and simple but not sure if it was a little too plain in the end.

The recipient loved the card.

Hope you like her too.

LILY OF THE VALLEY STAMPS

Hiya, long time no see.  Sorry for my absense on here.  I have two very good reasons, firstly it has been manic at work and also my internet access has been more or less none existent and driving me crazy with how slow it has been.

Anyway I went to the NEC last month and bought some LOTV stamps, they are sooo cute.  So at long last here are some of the cards I've made with some of them.

oO-Oo

This first card was made for a friend's birthday.  I used Promarkers for this one and the DP I think is DCWV. Ribbon, lace and gems from stash and the sentiment was a stamp from the NEC.

The card has not been sent yet, not sure who or what I will use it for, I just wanted to colour the stamp and try out my new MS Around the Page punch set.  (Actually just come back up the page to let you know I've decided this card is going to be for my Mum and Dad's Wedding Anniversary in June).
I used distress inks to colour this image on the watercolour card I also purchased at the NEC, what a huge difference it made using the correct paper.

I gave this card to my Mum for Mother's Day, I made it without a sentiment at first, I loved the DP, another one from DCWV and coloured the stamped image with Promarkers to coordinate.  After a few days I added the Mum cut on my Cricut, I have used stickles on the wording but it doesn't show too well on the photo.

Finally this was a very quick card that I made just to use the image I'd coloured whilst I was playing.  The DP this time is from a Brenda Pinnick pad.

I did buy a more stamps that I haven't got round to using yet but I will do as soon as poss.

Hope you like what you've seen and thanks for dropping by.

Take Care
